Theory into Practice: Discussion on Digital Inclusion, Safety, and Access for 2SLGBTQIA+ Communities

This event is co-hosted by the Center for Feminist Research (CFR) and the Institute for Technoscience and Society (ITS)

Dr. Stephanie Jonsson will be presenting on her research, focusing on how to put digital citizenship scholarship into conversation with feminist theory. She will delve into the challenges 2SLGBTQIA+ communities face with participating in the digital world and will share how her organization, the Open Digital Literacy and Access Network conducts community-based initiatives to address digital divide barriers 2SLGBTQIA+ communities experience in Canada.
